I had such a lovely time at Organic Beauty Week. Here are my thoughts on the Botanicals products I picked up whilst there.

I love Botanicals so much, well everything I have tried! Founder Wendy Sterling is also a rather lovely lady with great knowledge about organic beauty product ingredients and formulations. You can read my review of some of their products, including Botanicals organic body oils, and a hand & body balm here, and Botanicals body polish here

For today’s post, however, I am going to share with you my thoughts on the now called Botanicals Radiance Facial Serum – White Grape & Avocado, formerly known as Mandarin & Chamomile Facial Serum. A wise move, as we’re hearing so much about grapeseed oil and avocado oil when it comes to skincare, particularly their anti-ageing properties. Whilst we all know that chamomile is soothing and healing and such a great organic beauty product, many do not know the skin benefits of mandarin oil. Well, it’s also calming, as well as being restorative.

Botanicals Radiance Facial Serum also contains brightening apricot kernel oil, emollient sunflower seed oil, hydrating jojoba seed oil, plumping evening primrose oil, pure vitamin E, and soothing, anti-inflammatory lavender oil. These ingredients work in synergy, and are rich in unsaturated fatty acids and potassium, offering a non-greasy deep penetrating serum that is light and easily absorbed by the skin. With use, the skin’s natural elastin and collagen production are supported to help reduce signs of premature ageing.

The scent is a delicate balance of mandarin and chamomile with the slightest hint of lavender. With so many oils in the formula, and it being an oil-based serum, it is surprising how quickly the product is absorbed into the skin. Skin is left feeling soft, supple and with a radiant glow.

So happy I discovered these products at Organic Beauty Week!
