november-favourites

Looking at my November natural & organic beauty favourites, it has become rather apparent that the month of November for me is a time of indulgence. Of rich and decadent products that are full to burst of delicious fragrance and, particularly when it comes to skincare, wholesome ingredients.

I’ve been trying lots of new products these past couple of months which have come to be favourites in quite a short period of time. There are also some oldies that are also goodies here as well. Brands I’ve been using since I began my journey into natural and organic (name check: Kimberly Sayer and Botanicals.)

So without further ado here I present to you my beauty favourites from the month of November, all natural and many also full of organic goodness!

Botanicals Mineral Bath Soak in Himalayan Rose Winter time for me equals more baths. I don’t take too many in the summer months, I’m hot enough as it is thanks and I don’t take much pleasure from lukewarm baths! But winter is the time to indulge in a hot (but not too hot mind) bath. These bath salts really help to relax and unwind at the end of the day. I always fall asleep at an incredible rate after a bath with these bad boys!

Pacifica Ultra CC Cream Radiant Foundation with SPF 17 Party time is upon us (my social calendar for Christmas started in November this year, can you believe it?!) and whilst I don’t like to slap on that much makeup, Pacifica’s CC Cream helps to even out skin tone, provide light coverage (but you can apply more if you want greater coverage) and doesn’t cake or flake.

Saach Organics Basil, Hibiscus & Peppermint Shampoo I saw Ana my pal from Ana Goes Green at the weekend and we were both raving about just how good these shampoos are from Saach Organics. This one is designed to strengthen hair and the reason it has become one of my favourites is its effectiveness at cleaning the hair but also nourishing, due to the fact the main ingredients are herbal oils of peppermint and basil. There’s also basil, hibiscus and shikakai extracts, the latter has been used in hair cleansing in India for thousands of years, and coconut milk and almond oil.

The peppermint feels great on the scalp, tingly, and is the perfect wake up call for these cold winter mornings! The scent is also enlivening, and there is also a sweetness from the hibiscus flower, coconut and almond, which when combined I could swear there is a dash of liquorice in there however it’s nowhere to be seen on the ingredients list.

Balance Me Skin Bright Toning Mist I can’t remember whom I was talking to recently about how much we love hyaluronic acid! This toner is skin hydration in a bottle. I definitely go through phases with using and not using toners but I have been more into using them then not of late. Skin Bright Toning Mist from Balance Me doesn’t have much of a fragrance but does has a decent spritz nozzle and is quickly absorbed by the skin. I first used this in the summer months but now that the cold winter has come I’ve been using it to help keep my skin hydrated.

Kimberly Sayer Gentle Almond & Lavender Face Scrub This is a product I return to time and time again. I love the delicate fragrance of almond and lavender, the creaminess of the formula and the gentleness of the almond as a scrub. A great hero product for sensitive skin.

Bamford Body Wash with Geranium, Lavender & Peppermint Just like my Saach Organics Shampoo, this body wash is just the ticket for cold winter mornings when you find it difficult to get started. The peppermint dominates the fragrance of this body wash, but it is softened by the floral notes of lavender and geranium. This body wash lathers up all rich and creamy, and leaves skin feel super soft and clean.

Pure Hydrate & Renew Face Oil with Frankincense & Rose and Pure Cleansing OIl with Neroli & Jojoba. I was going to only feature one of these products, however I couldn’t pick which one to choose so I just had to include both! They are both some of the best skincare products I have tried all year! When it comes to the cleansing oil, not only is neroli fragrance one of my favourites, but the oil is also easy to remove with water and a face cloth and leaves  feeling soft and supple.

The Pure Renew Face Oil with Frankincense and Rose I have just fallen in love with everything about it; mostly the fragrance and the glow it gives my skin. It’s not the world’s most quickly absorbed product however so I have been utilising mostly at night, or in the mornings when I’m not in a rush to leave the house!

Watch out for a full feature on this new skincare range coming in 2017!
