I always used go on holiday with grand intentions of reviewing tonnes of products, and blogging loads. But in more recent times I’ve come to cherish the holiday time and realise that as much as I love it blogging is part of my work, so should be strictly limited whilst away. What I have been doing in recent times however is trying out new products whilst away, particularly those that one might need whilst in sunnier (or on occasion cooler) climes.

Last year we headed to Sal, Cape Verde for a bit of autumn-winter sun. I took this opportunity to incorporate some hydrating products into my skincare regimen. First up, Neal’s Yard Remedies Rehydrating Rose Facial Polish. I loved this exfoliator. It’s ideal for sensitive and dehydrated skin, and smells just like Turkish delight! The exfoliating particles are fine and don’t drag or aggravate the skin. As well as beautiful rose extract, seed powder and oil, there’s antioxidant milk thistle, hydrating aloe vera, coconut oil and essential oils of lemon, geranium and ylang ylang. The product leaves skin soft, smooth and hydrated. Perfect for use on holiday when you might have been out in the sun but still feel the need to exfoliate! 2016-biteable-beauty-neals-yard-remedies-rose-facial-polish
I teamed this product with Earth Kiss Miracle Clay Facial Hydrate Bamboo Sheet Mask. This mask is made from natural bamboo covered with argile clay and baobab. It’s interesting to have a clay mask combined with a sheet mask, but it works! My skin felt so conditioned afterwards, hydrated and smooth, calm and clear. Another great product to pack to take away on holiday!
